EL Bethel Christian Academy (EBCA), is a non-denominational institution that pursues excellence in all areas of development; an outreach ministry of EL Bethel Temple of Jesus at Orlando. The enrollment of the Academy is not limited to the members of EL Bethel, but is open to the entire community.
Since 1987 EL Bethel Christian Academy has been involved in teaching an individualized curriculum and provided training in its implementation for grades K5 thru 12. Students are tested diagnostically upon entering the program to determine their individual skill levels. They are then placed in a curriculum in each subject at their own performance levels determined by the results of the diagnostic test.

This unique format allows students to advance from unit to unit as they demonstrate mastery. Students move independently through the curriculum under the supervision of the instructors. Accelerated Christian Education is more than quality academics. The curriculum is built on theistic (belief in one God) philosophic foundation. Students learn to see life from God's point of view
.

A.C.E. Philosophy - Five Laws of Learning

  1. The pupil must be placed on a level of curriculum where he/she can best perform.
  2. The pupil must set reasonable and appropriate goals that he/she can be expected to achieve in a reasonable.
  3. The pupil must receive motivation through encouragement and support and achieve control through guidance and discipline in order to assimilate,, use and experience the educational material.
  4. The pupil's learning must have appropriate measurement applied to the results.
  5. The pupil's learning must receive recognition and reward for its value, effort and significance.

EBCA's MISSION

The mission of EL Bethel Christian Academy is to provide an education, which would provide a strong academic foundation, rooted in Biblical principles. We believe that a learning environment should individually and collectively develop students spiritually, intellectually and physically.

Our goal is to help our students understand their purpose by developing not only their academic skills but also their gifts and talents through music, drama, dance, writing, public speaking and other creative avenues.
